Sonus faber Sonetto VIII G2 Floorstanding Speakers

The flagship Sonetto G2 floorstander. Sonetto VIII G2 brings the largest scale and deepest bass of the collection, combining Sonus faber’s 1.1-inch DAD™ Arrow Point tweeter and 6.5-inch Camelia midrange with twin 8-inch woofers. Built in Vicenza, Italy, its true three-way architecture reaches down to 33 Hz while preserving the natural tonal balance and craftsmanship that define Sonus faber.

Camelia Midrange and Cork Chamber

First developed for Suprema, the 6.5-inch Camelia midrange uses a flower-inspired diaphragm geometry designed to avoid the resonances common to conventional circular membranes. In the Sonetto VIII G2 it shares a dedicated sealed cork chamber with the DAD™ Arrow Point tweeter, helping control internal reflections and improve midrange clarity and naturalness.

Flagship Scale

Twin 8-inch woofers work in a down-vented enclosure to give Sonetto VIII G2 the deepest extension in the Sonetto G2 family. A 90 dB sensitivity and recommended amplifier range of 50–400 watts give it the headroom to fill larger rooms without losing finesse.

Phase-Coherent Design

Sonus faber’s Phase Coherent crossover approach is designed to align the phase behavior of the drivers through the crossover regions, preserving timing and a stable, natural presentation.

Italian Craftsmanship

The lute-shaped cabinet is built in Vicenza from wood, leather and concrete. The concrete base adds mass and stability while helping manage vibration, and the cabinet is offered in Piano Black, Wenge and Walnut.
