Sonus faber Olympica G3 III Floorstanding Speakers

Olympica G3 III brings the core technology of Sonus faber’s newest Olympica generation into a slightly more compact floorstanding design. It combines the 28 mm DAD™ Arrow Point tweeter, 165 mm Camelia midrange and dual 165 mm woofers in a cabinet that is easier to integrate into many listening rooms than the larger Olympica G3 V, while preserving the same emphasis on natural tone, dimensionality and control.

This is a true third-generation redesign, not a cosmetic refresh. Suprema-derived midrange technology, a dedicated cork-damped acoustic chamber for the tweeter and midrange, updated aluminum details and revised cabinet treatment all contribute to a speaker that is more refined, more resolved and still unmistakably Sonus faber.

Camelia Midrange — Suprema Technology, Reframed for Olympica

The Camelia midrange is one of the defining technologies of Olympica G3. Its distinctive non-circular paper membrane was developed to reduce unwanted resonances while keeping the radiating surface open to the listener. In the Olympica G3 III, it handles the most critical part of the musical spectrum with the kind of clarity, vocal realism and natural texture that makes this generation feel meaningfully different from what came before.

Stealth Ultraflex — Bass That Breathes

Olympica G3 III uses Sonus faber’s rear reflex architecture to manage airflow smoothly and quietly while supporting the dual-woofer system. The goal is not exaggerated bass, but greater ease, control and extension. With useful output down to 42 Hz, the III has enough authority to sound full-scale in a serious two-channel system without becoming visually or acoustically overwhelming.

Crafted Like an Instrument

The asymmetrical lute-shaped cabinet remains one of Sonus faber’s most recognizable forms, but G3 sharpens the execution with full-surface 45-degree wood veneer, matte grey sandblasted aluminum and polished chamfer details. Those materials are not simply decorative. They reinforce the sense that Olympica is designed as a complete acoustic object — something meant to sound composed and look equally at home in a carefully designed room.
