This is a true third-generation evolution, not simply a new finish on the previous Olympica. The Camelia driver architecture developed from Suprema, refreshed materials and details, and the collection’s new 45-degree herringbone veneer move Olympica forward while preserving the natural, expressive character and sculptural cabinet that made the line unmistakably Sonus faber.

DAD Tweeter and the Signature String Grille

The 28 mm DAD™ Arrow Point extended-frequency silk tweeter carries Sonus faber’s familiar approach to the top end: open, refined and designed to integrate naturally with the midwoofer rather than call attention to itself. The removable string grille protects the drivers while preserving the visual connection to the baffle — a Sonus faber signature that feels particularly elegant on the compact Olympica G3 I.

Camelia in a Two-Way Design

At the heart of Olympica G3 I is the 165 mm Camelia driver, technology originally developed for Suprema. Its organic, non-circular membrane geometry is designed to reduce unwanted resonances while presenting its full radiating surface to the listener. Here it serves as the midwoofer in a compact two-way system, giving Olympica G3 I the clarity and vocal realism of the larger models while extending convincingly into the bass for its size.

Craftsmanship in the Details

The lute-shaped cabinet is wrapped in a full-surface 45-degree herringbone wood veneer inspired by Stradivari, while matte grey sandblasted aluminum elements and polished chamfers sharpen the look without losing the warmth of the natural wood. The result feels unmistakably Sonus faber: contemporary, meticulously finished and designed as much like an instrument as a piece of furniture.

Designed Around Its Dedicated Stand

Olympica G3 I can be used as a true bookshelf or stand-mount loudspeaker, but Sonus faber also offers a dedicated aluminum stand with stainless-steel spikes designed specifically for it. The stand completes the visual proportions of the speaker and provides a stable foundation for serious listening. Olympica Bookshelf Stands are sold separately.
