Fully Balanced Design

The "B" in X1 B stands for Balanced.

Unlike conventional turntables, the X1 B is engineered to support fully balanced signal transmission from the cartridge to a compatible phono preamplifier. When paired with a balanced phono stage such as the Pro-Ject Phono Box S3 B or Phono Box DS3 B using the optional True Balanced cable, surface noise and external interference are significantly reduced, allowing more of the music to emerge from an exceptionally quiet background.

Of course, the X1 B also performs beautifully with traditional RCA connections, making it equally at home in virtually any high-quality audio system.
