Gallo Acoustics Micro SE Spherical Loudspeaker

Micro SE was never intended to be just a higher-spec version of a compact satellite speaker. It keeps Gallo's rigid 4-inch spherical enclosure, but replaces the standard Micro driver with a proprietary 3-inch wide-dispersion flat-diaphragm transducer.

The result is greater detail and extension to 22 kHz while retaining the precise imaging and unusually broad listening area that make the Micro family so easy to enjoy.

A custom 3-inch flat-diaphragm driver handles the entire operating range, so there is no crossover splitting the signal between multiple drivers. Gallo's Optimized Pulse Technology and S2 damping system further control resonance and distortion.

With 85 dB sensitivity, a 4-ohm nominal impedance and 125-watt power handling, Micro SE benefits from a good amplifier while remaining an easy fit in a compact stereo or home theater system.

Each Micro SE includes Gallo's Isolation2 surface mount for a shelf, cabinet or tabletop. Optional wall mounts, floor stands and in-ceiling mounts make it just as useful in a dedicated two-channel system as it is in a compact home theater or multi-room installation.

For systems that need deeper bass, Micro SE pairs naturally with one of Gallo's subwoofers. Used that way, it can form the basis of a remarkably capable system without filling the room with speaker cabinets.

The spherical cabinet is available in a wide range of standard and premium finishes, so Micro SE can either blend quietly into the room or become part of the design. The all-metal terminal area uses nickel heads and gold-plated posts and accepts standard banana plugs and heavier-gauge speaker cable up to 4 mm.
