The Fyne Audio F501E is a 2.5-way floorstanding speaker built around a 6-inch IsoFlare point-source driver and a matching 6-inch bass driver. It offers greater bass extension, output and sensitivity than the smaller F55E while keeping the cabinet relatively compact.
With 90 dB sensitivity and an 8-ohm nominal impedance, the F501E can deliver strong dynamics without requiring unusually high amplifier power.
6-inch IsoFlare point-source driver
The IsoFlare driver places a 25 mm titanium dome compression tweeter at the center of the 6-inch multi-fibre mid/bass cone. This point-source arrangement is designed to maintain consistent timing and dispersion through the critical midrange and treble.
A separate 6-inch bass driver supports the lower frequencies, giving the F501E an in-room response down to 36 Hz.
BassTrax for smoother room integration
The downward-firing port terminates into Fyne's BassTrax Tractrix diffuser, spreading bass energy evenly around the base of the speaker rather than directing it from a conventional front or rear port.
This helps reduce sensitivity to toe-in and room position while maintaining controlled, extended bass.
A strong all-around floorstander
The F501E is sized for medium rooms and works equally well for two-channel music or as the main left and right speakers in a high-performance home-theater system.
