Cambridge Audio SPIRA 1 Turntable with Audio-Technica AT3600L MM Cartridge

Vinyl made easy, with room to grow.

The Cambridge Audio Spira 1 is a manual belt-drive turntable that arrives with an Audio-Technica AT3600L moving-magnet cartridge already fitted and aligned. It gives a new record collection a properly engineered starting point, while its adjustable tracking force, anti-skate and removable headshell leave room for you to fine-tune and upgrade later.

Spira keeps the system choices open. Its built-in RIAA phono stage connects to a standard line-level input, or you can bypass it for a separate phono preamplifier. Bluetooth transmission offers another way to listen through compatible speakers or headphones. Five finishes — Black, White, Orange, Green and Blue — make it easy to fit the turntable into a room without hiding it away.

Ready for Your First Record

Cambridge supplies the AT3600L cartridge pre-mounted and aligned, taking one of the more technical setup steps out of the box. The included dust cover, RCA cable and necessary setup accessories help you get started, while the removable headshell and adjustable tonearm settings make this more than a fixed, throwaway entry-level design.

Built for Stable Playback

A 1.8 kg steel platter, belt drive and isolating rubber feet give Spira a stable mechanical foundation. Electronic switching between 33⅓ and 45 RPM means there is no need to move the belt by hand when changing record speeds. The straight aluminum tonearm provides adjustable tracking force and anti-skate so you can set the cartridge up correctly.

Connect the Way You Listen

Use the built-in phono stage when connecting to an amplifier or powered speaker's line input, or switch to phono output when using a separate phono preamp. Spira also transmits audio over Bluetooth to compatible receivers, powered speakers or headphones. It does not receive Bluetooth audio and does not have a USB output.

Five Finishes, One Thoughtful Design

Spira is available in Black, White, Orange, Green and Blue. The colors are designed to complement Cambridge Audio's L/R active speaker collection, though the turntable works with other compatible audio systems as well.
