Both the balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs pass through Raytheon 5744 NOS micro-tubes. The result is an analogue output stage designed to bring warmth, harmonic richness and musicality to your CD collection.
Use its DAC—or yours
The internal WM8761 DAC feeds the tube-equipped analogue outputs, while optical TOSLINK and coaxial RCA digital outputs let you send the digital signal directly to an external DAC or a digital input on your integrated amplifier.
More than conventional CD playback
A front-panel USB input supports MP3 and FLAC files up to 16-bit/44kHz. CD-Text displays available artist, album and song information, while repeat and random playback modes and the supplied infrared remote make everyday operation straightforward.
