Gallo Acoustics Droplet Micro

Droplet Micro takes Gallo's 4-inch Micro loudspeaker and turns it into a pendant speaker for spaces where a wall, shelf or conventional speaker stand is not practical. It is a good fit for kitchens, dining areas, open-plan rooms and other spaces with high or open ceilings.

The 3-inch full-range driver operates without a conventional crossover, helping preserve the precise imaging and wide dispersion of the standard Micro.

The all-metal spherical enclosure is compact and rigid, minimizing the cabinet resonance and diffraction associated with a conventional box speaker. Frequency response extends to 18 kHz, with an 8-ohm nominal impedance and 100-watt power handling.

For full-range music, adding a subwoofer is recommended. The Droplet format is especially useful when you want good sound without using wall or floor space.

Each Droplet Micro includes 2 meters of speaker cable and a ceiling rose kit with both black and white ceiling rose options. The installation hardware is designed to keep the finished system clean and simple once suspended.

Droplet Micro weighs 1175g and is available in the same broad range of finishes as the rest of the Gallo spherical speaker family.

Droplet works equally well in residential audio, home theater and custom-install applications. Gallo also offers 70V and 100V versions for commercial projects.
