Gallo Acoustics A’Diva SE Spherical Loudspeaker

A'Diva SE keeps the same compact 5-inch spherical enclosure as the standard A'Diva, but the driver is completely different. In place of the conventional full-range cone, the SE uses Gallo's proprietary 3-inch flat-diaphragm transducer with an aluminum honeycomb construction.

That change gives the SE greater high-frequency extension, wider dispersion and a more detailed presentation. It is still small enough to disappear into a room, but it is aimed at the listener who wants more resolution from a compact loudspeaker.

The flat-diaphragm driver covers the operating range without a conventional crossover, preserving the coherence and imaging that are central to Gallo's single-driver designs. Optimized Pulse Technology and S2 damping are also used to control resonance and distortion.

A'Diva SE is a 4-ohm design with 88 dB sensitivity. Power handling increases to 60 watts full range and 125 watts when crossed over, giving it more headroom than the standard A'Diva.

Mounted on a wall or floor stand, A'Diva SE reaches down to 80 Hz and extends to 22 kHz. That gives it enough low-frequency reach to work without a subwoofer in many rooms, while a sub can still be added when true full-range performance or greater home-theater impact is required.

Each speaker includes Gallo's Isolation2 surface mount, with optional wall mounts, floor stands and in-ceiling hardware available.

The 5-inch spherical cabinet is offered in the same broad range of standard and premium finishes as the rest of the Gallo family. The all-metal terminal area uses nickel heads and gold-plated posts and accepts standard banana plugs and speaker cable up to 4 mm.
