Gallo Acoustics RoomSub 8 Subwoofer

RoomSub 8 is the smaller of Gallo's two RoomSub models, combining an 8-inch down-firing woofer with a 200-watt Class-D amplifier. Its compact cabinet is well suited to smaller rooms and systems where a larger subwoofer would be difficult to place.

Frequency response extends to 32 Hz, adding the low-frequency foundation that Gallo's compact satellite and pendant speakers cannot reproduce on their own.

The polypropylene-cone woofer fires downward, keeping the cabinet visually clean and allowing the subwoofer to work in a variety of room positions.

The 200-watt built-in amplifier includes an active low-pass filter continuously adjustable from 50 to 180 Hz for matching the subwoofer to the main speakers.

RoomSub 8 is a straightforward choice for Micro, Micro SE, A'Diva, A'Diva SE, Droplet and other compact speaker systems. It also works with conventional stereo or home-theater speakers from other manufacturers.

The cabinet is available in satin black or satin white and measures 11.3 inches wide, 13.5 inches high and 11.3 inches deep.

RoomSub 8 is the better fit for smaller rooms and systems where compact size matters most. Move to RoomSub 10 when you need greater output from its larger 10-inch driver and 300-watt amplifier.
