FYNE Audio F500S Bookshelf Speakers (Pair)

The Fyne Audio F500S is the stand-mount model in the F500S Series, built around Fyne's latest-generation 6-inch IsoFlare point-source driver. By placing the 25 mm magnesium dome compression tweeter at the acoustic center of the multi-fibre bass/mid driver, the F500S is designed to behave more like a single point source — with precise imaging, even dispersion and a coherent presentation across a wide listening area.

It is compact enough for a bookshelf or stand, but it is not voiced like a small speaker. In-room bass extension reaches 45 Hz, giving it useful weight and scale for both music systems and front-channel home-theater use.

The 6-inch IsoFlare driver combines a multi-fibre bass/mid cone with Fyne's magnesium-dome compression tweeter on the same acoustic axis. That geometry helps preserve timing and dispersion through the crossover region, which is a big part of the focused, stable soundstage associated with Fyne's IsoFlare designs.

A downward-firing port works with Fyne's BassTrax Tractrix diffuser to convert low-frequency energy into a smooth 360-degree wavefront around the base of the cabinet. That makes bass response less dependent on exact toe-in and room position than a conventional rear-firing port.

A rear-panel presence control provides ±3 dB adjustment from 2.5 to 5 kHz. It is useful flexibility when matching the F500S to a room, amplifier or listening preference without resorting to broad tone-control changes.

The cabinet uses high-rigidity MDF with extensive internal bracing to reduce unwanted resonance. Finishes include Black Oak, Natural Walnut and Piano Gloss Black, with magnetic grilles for a clean front baffle when removed.
